Skipping a proxy server?

My university has all port 80 traffic routed through its filtering power. Is there any way to evade the filters on my laptop, so you can use sites like MySpace?

no, there are routing all traffic on port 80 through your firewall or proxy server then all you could do is use another proxy server on a different port, such as 8080 and there are some free AVAILBLE without But the university is most likely blocking the ports
