I found this book while doing Internet research for a mystery novel I'm writing. I found it interesting, but I'm a skeptic. No But when I saw that he had a money back guarantee, I bought the book and was pleasantly surprised. There are literally hundreds of links in this book ties that go far beyond the genre of mystery. I've had a crime by authorities for over a month, and I believe him, I'm only on page 42 of a book page 118? I still go to a site, see an interesting link, go there and … before you know it, the day is over and I have not done anything!
"Murder by proxy "is well organized and easy to find what you want. The first section deals with the requirements of being a writer, and how to establish their own business where to find a safe way to calculate the home business tax deductions. Many new writers do not worry about the business aspects of being a writer, but these things are important.
Since then, Thomas has a number of directory of associations and organizations, writers' groups, conferences and contests. They also are of value for writers. If you've decided to become full-time writer, you have to associate with other writers, at least from time to time, or you go nuts or dried. Such Once both! There is a lot of good things there.
Once I got through those sections, I came to the largest section in the book, in the art of writing. Here I found links to grammar and punctuation, plot, character development and all the auxiliary information a writer needs before starting work. There are also links in the review, manuscript preparation, sending query letters and tons of other useful information. I know I'm going to go to this section over and over again.
Then comes the best part of the book, the anatomy of the crime. I found this section particularly fascinating. Want know anything specific about the weapons? There is a section on firearms. Gangs, their language and how it works? Look on page 57. If you're writing a urban mystery today, it damn well better be familiar with the jargon of gangs and what type of police to carry firearms, for you readers if they do not know.
Once you have committed the crime, on paper, you'll want to go to the section on criminal investigation. This section links to all kinds of fun information: law enforcement, private investigators, psychology, criminal mind, enough to keep you reading for weeks.
Once you've finished writing the manuscript, a whole section on copyright, ISBN number and a host of legal remedies.
The last third the book is devoted to websites where they are published, how to promote his book and resources, including the creation of an author's website once it has released its mystery. A list of reference books and even an additional section of different resources.
Can you find all this information on your own? Of course you can, but do you want? In Murder by proxy, everything is organized and clean, ready to dive This book will save you hours, days, weeks and months of time, probably can spend time writing.
