Malware is malicious code intended to damage the system that is downloaded to. Malware comes in several types. The best known of them are as follows:

Trojan horse

This is a malicious code, usually exchanged via email, which shows itself as a useful program, but has a hidden agenda. One example is the Zlob Trojan, 2005/06. This copy itself, create changes in directories, etc. screensaver Niagara Trojan horse claims to be a screen saver, but downloading viruses and scripts during execution. Worm

A worm is a program that makes its way through the system without the user doing anything. The worm Morris' close the internet for several days. The Morris worm obtained unauthorized access to computers. It caused a buffer overflow so that people could not get access your Internet in 1988. The types of worms now are similar to email viruses and common sense should be used when opening files.

Applet

An applet is a program that can be useful, but can cause problems for other programs in the system. An example of malware is getting applet applet automatic download when you visit a website. JavaScript is enabled and may execute malicious scripts. There is a Java security model that requires Java to run in an environment restricted to control the malicious content.

Most Anti-Virus programs have moved in search of specific malware. You can go to some antivirus sites to scan your system and download a removal tool to remove malware system.
