servlet code to download a file from a website via a proxy server requiring basic authentication?

hello friends I'm looking for a code to download a file from a full url website is available to me More specifically I have to download the csv file that contains the contributions of stock symbols you want on yahoo finance website. The problem is that I am not getting how to retrieve citations from the website. i have a full link. Also I have to download the file to a specified location. these things need to happen in the background. I mean the browser will not have to ask the location to save the file. what should happen automatically in the background. Another problem is that my laptop is connected to the Internet through a proxy server that requires username and password. Server details are as given the 10.1.1.254 ip http port 8080 so the program should feed these details automatically and continue the work. Plz help me in this sense. thanks in advance
