¿I can improve my speed Internet to improve online play on PS3 or PC?
My internet seems to run slowly. I use it mainly to play PS3 online gaming and my connection is limited to certain people or servers, and I'm "lazy" in some games. Im playing COD Modern warfare 2. I did a speed test and it is showing 0.60 Mb / s on the computer and the PS3 I think. Is there a port I have to open or is there something im missing in network connections on the PlayStation? Here are some other data I am using a wireless router, Actiontec, I do not use proxy or UPnP on the ps3 and our DSL provider is the version. I live in Texas. No help whatsoever would be helpful. Thank you.
If possible, use Ethernet. It will improve the connection. I also have allowed power and im good. Not great, but okay. High Speed Internet varies greatly by location, so if you live in a bad place you're out of luck. By Instead, you can also check to see if your card wireless network interface needs tweaking or is simply out of date. These usually are integrated in computers today
