Connecting Schools to the wireless network with an iPod Touch?

Im finally in my senior year of high school. And for the last three years was trying to understand the WEP code for our school. Well, when I finally got what he of course went to go use the Internet in one of my multiple devices Portable. When I successfully connected my ipod touch I was across the strait to the App Store. Unfortunaltly when he hit me he said "can not connect to iTunes Store "about Safari, said he was not connected to the Internet. The school uses Novell for access to computers. It also has a firewall. I changed the configuration my ipod touch for the proxy to be manual, so you could put in my username and password from the school, but no difference. Help please?

Have you tried asking the IT department? Just ask. Many nerds have no problems to help with this problem. I know you do not. I can not tell you how do this because there are many things that could cause this problem. A tip: If you are in a proxy, you might try (TRY means I do not know if this works at all) to Open Internet Explorer click Alt Type Click Tools, Internet Options Click the Connections tab LAN Settings box at the bottom Copy information provided in the next window and try to put that in your iPod. This is the specific address of the LAN proxy. Normally, it should be noted that, then the network connect.
