i cann't log into my yahoo messenger with firewall? I can enter yahoo.com yahoo mail and use, but do not get?

I have tryed to chance the proxy, uninstall and reinstall yahoo messenger. but gets nowhere. I can not even uninstall my firewall. I was able to use my yahoo messenger before my firewall AOL. BY PLEASE HELP
