What are the proxy card?

I've heard of representation for my search for a Black Lotus card. If you do not know that I'm talking about magic card collection.

Proxies are placeholders, not real things, but "have like them. "So if you have power, I'll say something like" Islands in this deck are actually Black Lotus "and include four islands on its cover. When you draw, you just treat it as a Black Lotus. For example, my friend did not have any dragons Broodmate. So, I called the (very impressive) in the sharpies mountains with different colors and then wrote its rules in it. When you put the proxy in your deck, just be sure that they are easily distinguishable.
