If you use a proxy can people know your real IP address?
as if you use a proxy on a message board can tell my real ip even if I am using a web proxy. Because my friend had several accounts and was banned from the four and the message said there were four accounts.They were being managed from different proxy sites.
Yes, unless the proxy server excludes the headers that reveal their true IP. There is a header X-Forwarded-For specifying the real IP. Some proxy software can also pass via_proxy header.
