Where does Internet Explorer 6 and save the information as the proxy configuration page?

Our IE at work has specific proxy settings, but I can not seem to take note of the address because the text box where you entered is grayed out and is a long URL. Need configuration management know that my firefox will not work without it. Is there a text file somewhere on your hard drive where I can see all settings that our IT came as personal home page, proxy settings and all the other things? I installed Firefox portable because tabbed browsing. Surf is allowed in our company and they issued me a laptop. No longer requested for firefox to be installed, and it would take years before we can process the application. I just need the address of the automatic setup so you can use my portable firefox and not the old Internet Explorer 6 when browsing. Does anyone else know where I can find that file?
