Can not log into Yahoo Messene?

I had messenger for a long time and have not been able to log on to Yahoo Messenger all day. I restarted messenger. I restart the computer. I went to the messaging connection tab and change the connection settings without proxies, and then use proxies and detection of the network and none of it worked. I have tried disabling firewalls and anti-virus software and did not work. I cleared my cookies and still not working. Does anyone have any other ideas for me to try? I am very confused here.

You must completely uninstall messenger so you can get rid of damaged files that is causing the problem and get a clean install.
