I do not think you understand why we do this. We are not trying to force our beliefs on anyone. We are not trying to be disrespectful. We just believe the Bible, and the Bible, Christ very plainly states that all must be baptized. Other religions often just remove those who were not even those who never had the opportunity to even hear the name of Christ, let alone be baptized in obedience to him. We, however, that all have the same opportunity to return to God, so they take their name from the church and are baptized by proxy for them. This is an act of love for us, plain and simple. It is often very uncomfortable giving many hours to the work of the temple, but we do because we love God and want all their children to be happy. How is this rude? In addition, you're missing some points: 1) If we are correct and this is necessary, then the other side is looking forward to it .. 2.) If we are wrong and this is not necessary, does it matter? If we are wrong, then it means nothing, and the other side is likely that more than worrying about those things anyway. Why get offended by it? 3.) We do the work for all but this does not mean that we are trying to force everyone to join our faith. The other side still have the responsibility to accept or reject the baptisms we do on their behalf. We do not force anything. I had not heard that we had the work done by Hitler, but no matter even if we had. Our responsibility is to work for ALL. They are not judges of these people and decide who deserves the job and who does not is not our place. That depends entirely on them, not us. We are not God. And Mickey Mouse? Yes, I'm sure some idiot put that name in the database. It does not mean that the work became a reality. People come, you know.
