Problems with Firefox's proxy?

I have to use the same computer for home and school. In school, if I want to access a website that is not in the intranet (ie a school page) and then i need to convert Firefox representation in school and i need to turn off page. this never happened in the Internet browser – why do custom work in Firefox?

Try this: In FF, go to Tools> Options> Advanced> Network> Settings, then select Auto-detect
