Please someone tell me how to run through a JavaScript proxy!?
I've been looking for months for a way to run JavaScript through a proxy, so I'm completely anonymous while browsing. I would run through Tor, Privoxy or I2P JAP or even. If someone could tell me how runs through any proxy that I want to get the best answer immediately. Hell, even I am going to create a 6 or 7 questions to give opportuninty for chosen as the best answer (wink, wink).
Technically they are not truly anonymous if they can run Javascript. Qoute: "A site Malicious websites can use Javascript for various activities of evil, as a crude way to port scan the local network of Java. can ask your team what real leadership is IP, regardless of what Tor server sends the request through. If your computer uses a real (ie not RFC 1918) IP, a Java applet can send that information the source server, defeating the anonymity of Tor. Sailing without Javascript is becoming less viable as sites increasingly rely on things like Ajax. However it is likely that want to activate the NoScript extension (included with Torpark but is disabled by default) to control which sites are allowed to run Javascript. Java normally can be maintained and should be disabled if you wish to remain anonymous when browsing web pages are not trusted. "End qoute Check out this site and test The Torpark tool for Firefox, which allows you to turn Javascript on and off depending on the site you're visiting. And it seems a bit easier to use so not have to do pretty much the setup. It also makes use of privoxy.
