proxy marriage in north carolina
marriage license?

My boyfriend is in the Marines. He leaves for Iraq in July and really want to get married before that date. We arent going to have a wedding ceremony until he returns. He is based in North Carolina and I live in Massachusetts. There is no way to let him apply for a marriage license with me. No But I read that since Mass.gov in the military I can request one on behalf of the two. But has yet to give any other information. I wondered if anyone know how I would go about doing this. Thanks! I do not want a marriage by proxy. I just want to get a marriage license to get home to deployment leave before they can marry

you get it at the courthouse for the county you are getting married in the courthouse call and let you know affection. Good luck.
