Where is my NTLM-based proxy username/password hidden?

Our environment is using NTLM authentication and my laptop is part of a domain. The proxy server has just been set in the Internet Explorer. Magically, when I browse the internet, the Internet Explorer knows how to send my credentials to our proxy. So if i want to use another browser, where do i find my credentials in windows xp?
