Is this really true?
Women with low waist-hip ratio has been shown in studies to be smarter and have smarter offspring. Using data from the U.S. National Center for Health Statistics, William Lassek of the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and Steven Gaulin, of University of California at Santa Barbara, found a child's performance in cognition tests was linked to the waist-hip of his mother, a quantity indicator of fat stored in their hips. Children whose mothers had wide hips and a low waist-hip ratio are the most affected, leading Lassek and Gaulin suggest that fetuses benefit from hip fat contains polyunsaturated fatty acids essential for fetal brain development. – From Wikipedia
