any software can be used as a replacement for BearShare, which can not be blocked by proxy?

The software BearShare does not work on my system the problem is that it is showing proxy problem as I am a part of the network you are on the proxy settings and I can not change anything in the proxy server and I want to an unrestricted proxy software.
