Yahoo Messenger connection problem?
6.0.0.303e am using Kaspersky AV and firewall, and I have a big problem with Yahoo IM: I can not see my messages others, you can see my i send messages to them. Even if you connect YM, and shows me my contacts, I can not read the writing messeges for others and your message to me. This was truly annoying, since I have configured my firewall to allow TCP connections out on port 5050, 5001, 5000, and 80 (I searched Google ports for yahoo and that is what I found). I have to know what the servers and ports that need to access so that you can configure my firewall properly. I tried various settings, ie the proxy (although I have entered a valid proxy) firewall with proxy or firewall not (With rules to allow connections in ports mentioned above). I have yahoo also include instant messaging application in the "allowed" in the list of Kaspersky AV. i tried Everithing was unsuccesfull. Please advice. THX!
