Social unblock websites with Web proxy servers

We've all experienced. You are bored at school or at work, and just want to take a look fast to our Facebook page, or watch a short video on YouTube or two … only to discover that these sites have been blocked by their government or employer. It's frustrating. Is a little insulting. And there are ways around it.

Two, actually. The first way is quite simple: use a different browser. Many networks use computers Windows and Internet Explorer, so that network administrators block sites only for Internet Explorer. Maybe you have a particularly clever (or boring) administrator network that blocks Firefox and Safari for Macintosh users. But there is always a possibility that simply using a different browser, you can access your favorite sites social networks. There are literally dozens of alternative browsers out there (Netscape, Opera, Avant, and Google Chrome, just to name a few) that can be downloaded from sites software such as Download.com or Softpedia.com free.

Moreover, schools and workplaces block their teams so hard these days for the average user does not is allowed to install new software. Not so … but very when Windows was installed on this computer, it was MSN Explorer? If so, give it a try. If not … well, there's always proxies.

Which brings us to the second form around a blocked site: Proxy servers. A proxy server is basically a website that displays another website. So … How exactly does that help? Well, when you type a Web address (URL) in your browser at school or work, the network controls the address against a list of prohibited URL, such as www.facebook.com. However, the URL of the page proxy server is probably not blocked, so the network allows traffic through. The proxy server acts merely as a transfer point. The school team not going to Facebook. The team goes to another team that is going to Facebook!

So where do you find a proxy server? Anywhere. There are literally hundreds of them in worldwide. Just type "proxy server" or "web proxy" in Google and take your pick. There are even entire Web sites dedicated to maintaining proxy server list. In fact, if you can find one of these sites, use it. Here's why: network administrators are not stupid. Proxy servers eat a lot of system resources and bandwidth and network administrators notice these things. When you use the same proxy server every day, eventually will account of all traffic going to that site, take a look, they realize it is a proxy server and block that site, too. To avoid this, use another server proxy every time, or at least a different one each day. Web sites that have lists of hundreds of proxy servers are ideal. Some even have a button you can click to select a proxy server at random. That'll keep the network administrators to guess!

I leave you with a trivia question in the most noble of servers proxy. Although it is easy to think of them as poor, small hidden things that enable you to behave badly and lose time of your company, but actually serve a purpose very important. There are many countries in the world, like China that seek to limit the information their citizens can access by maintaining huge lists of addresses URL prohibited. Proxy servers prevent this and let people find out what really happens. Of course, these nations seek to block proxy servers, too, but they always are a step behind. When anyone can set up a proxy server in his garage, a dozen new proxies can (and do) appear every day, repressive governments will never be able to keep up with them.
