How to unblock port 8000?

I was using a proxy server with port 8000 for specific sites. But since last week, I am not able to browse with the proxy server and port 8000 on my LAN. But it is working well in the end my friend. So I think port 8000 is blocked. Is there anyway to unblock the port?

i dont think that the port is blocked i guess the proxy server address is blocked by adminisrator UR … find some new No proxy address that works well or if the port is blocked from using some other proxy server ..
