My bandwidth limits of the school for online gaming and streaming video. How can I avoid this?
I have the ability watch streaming video and playing on Xbox Live, is painfully slow and lazy. I called technical support and verify that they are indeed limited bandwidth. The current Internet connection is fast (if you only browse websites), so I know it's not the problem. My friend told me that if you use a firewall to limit myself then a proxy server could be the answer. Any ideas? I guess I should have specified that I'm in college not high school so the idea of playing Xbox Live in the school is not so ridiculous. I play in the dorms, when I get bored and do a lot of study.
You play X-Box live at school? In serious limitation of bandwidth in school is to prevent students from using the Internet other than research and study … and yet, playing X-Box live with it?
