I can not connect to yahoo messenger.?

I have read the help on proxy servers, but nothing works. I tried all the proxy servers and connect anything. The happy face turns yellow at a given moment, but I still get the message that I can not connect yahoo messenger. It is a firewall at home, which not contact manager. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice, which is still no luck. (And it doesn't work help page in the list, I said I could have misspelled, and it is a help button, then I do not know what else to do Why change ..?!? Yahoo
