Starcraft II Editing patches. HELP!?
Currently with a MacBook Pro, and I have especially partitioned my hard drive using the Boot Camp Assistant and install Windows 7 in gaming purposes. After installation of Starcraft II, Starcraft II dialog box appeared, the last update patch. After I finish, I hit "play." The screen went blank (black) and then another box appeared again. This time, I wondered … "Starcraft 2 requires a patch. Do you want to download and install the patch now?" This keeps repeating over and over. It took time and looked for solutions in all other forums. (1) I tried to go to Internet Options settings> Connection and tick all the boxes – Failed. (2) I tried to Internet Options> LAN settings and only controls the proxy server and is automatically detect settings – Failed. (3) I tried Internet Options> Settings LAN, and of only Automatically detect settings not control the rest – Failed. (4) tried to turn off my firewall – Failed. Help, anyone?
I had the same problem and tried the solution you mentioned. This did not work for me. What did work for me was a response of "Brown" at the source below: enter router / modem and allow outgoing TCP connections to port 1119. Hope this works for you too.
