BBCiplayer.Help Having trouble?

I downloaded the programs in the download manager, but when I try to play in WMP says that this file can be in use or have access to the computer wheres the file is stored or your proxy settings might not be correct. I tried to open with iPlayer but I can not. I been on the iPlayer help site but it says go to WMP and select Tools on the menu but my WMP doesn't have a menu at all why is this?. I have windows vista. Also I can not find anywhere where it says the version of WMP I have. 10 or 11. How I can I know?

I think they just select from the list manager Download and loaded automatically. But if that fails, then I try going to the help section of the website and / or in contact with them.
