I extend my Internet connection to clients.I no router only have a 24 switch.I port Windows 2003 Server installed on my server machine.I not want to create proxy server.I want to share my Internet connection among my clients that use Network Address translation. To why I installed two network cards in my card machine. One Internet server with the following settings IP 202.41.95.114 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway and Preferred DNS 202.41.95.113 202.41.99.3 and the other card (for internal use for clients) subnet mask 255.255.255.0 IP 192.168.0.1 Default Gateway DNS 202.41.99.3 not in administrative tools I set up and enable routing and remote access for NAT.Till here I am to access my web server not the machine on the client machine. Now, I know what to configure the TCP / IP should I assign to the client computers for Internet access in machines.Pl different customer. help me.
Are you using active directory? Do you have DHCP configured on your server? What about DNS? I would recommend setting up DHCP on the server and domain names. Assign all client computers of its own IP address in DHCP, and point to your server (IP address information automatically.) If that fails, then go to a client machine and set the IP address and subnet mask, then assign the default gateway as 192.168.0.1 and the domain names point to your AD DNS server, also make sure your DNS is configured to forward requests to your ISP DNS to the server. So your client machines will connect faster and solve more websites fast.
