How I can get specific programs to connect to an Internet proxy server?
I'm on a university network that provides access to the Internet. Unfortunately, it seems that Internet Explorer can only connect to the Internet. i also got skype to connect by filling in the information connection settings in Skype. i used skype proxy was https. I also had to get into college my username and password (username and skype no password). I want to know whether we can make some kind of framework that will allow any program to access the Internet (antivirus, etc) how it should be. I tried playing with the firewall, doesn't work.
