How can I get Safari to work again after my computer is infected with a virus?

My team has the week Zlob trojan virus past and is filled to some of the settings on my computer. Since then I got rid of him. I use Safari as my browser but I have not been able to use it since I have the virus, since it always appears as "not connecting to server. Does anyone know how to fix the problem with Safari?
